WHAT IS ECOLABEL CERTIFICATION?

The EU Ecolabel is the official European Union mark of environmental excellence, graphically represented by a stylized daisy with the letter “E” in the center. It is a voluntary Type I ecological certification (regulated by ISO 14024 standard), meaning it is verified by an independent third-party organization and based on strict scientific criteria.

Key Criteria Features

Environmental criteria are established at the European level by scientists and experts. They are selectively designed to reward only excellence: typically, only the top 10–20% of products on the market in terms of sustainability manage to obtain it. In addition to a reduced environmental impact, the label guarantees that the product maintains high performance and quality standards (it does not pollute and works effectively).
